WhatsApp starts testing Darker Theme for iOS and fixes desktop bugs.

WABetaInfo shared a screenshot to show the difference with the toolbar below being shaded in black instead of grey. The latter is available in existing WhatsApp versions, while the former is included in the latest beta version.

The update also aims to show profile photos in notifications for more beta testers. However, the experience was initially released publicly to some users in January.

WhatsApp Desktop Beta 2.2211.3 has been released separately to fix bugs that are currently available. One of the bugs involved profile and group photos not showing up on the chat screen.
